Evening Primrose Oil is a nourishing oil that is excellent for Oily, Acne-Prone, and Combination skin types.  It is high in linoleic acid, which is an essential fatty acids that are needed to keep the skin moisturized.  Evening Primrose Oil has one of the highest plant base source of Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA), an important fatty acid that helps to maintain healthy skin and rejuvenate mature skin, and may soothe extremely dry skin and eczema, and also skin damaged by the sun.  It has barrier protection and soothing properties to help protect, repair and maintain skin tissue to leave the skin rejuvenated and soft.

Evening Primrose is a plant that is native to Central and North America, and grown elsewhere in temperate and subtropical regions. Its oil is extracted from the seeds of the Evening Primrose plant. The Evening Primrose plant has a long history of medicinal uses by Native American tribes, which includes using its leaves and roots for bruises, wounds and skin problems. It is later naturalised and grown by Europeans for its plant oils to relieve skin disorders such as eczema, psoriasis and acne.
